My sister-in-law told me about the miracle blanket and I ordered one 3 weeks ago. Prior to getting it, we were using regular square swaddle blankets for our daughter. They worked ok when she was small and still, but do not work at all now that she is 2 months old. No matter how tight the swaddle, she always managed to get her arms free and wake herself up. Not with the miracle blanket! She is able to stay comfortably swaddled all night. I also love the material - perfect for warm and cold weather. As a first time Mom alot of the first weeks were trial and error where sleep was concerned. My son seemed to sleep decently, but would always startle awake from his reflexes and fuss like he wasn't ready to be awake yet. My Mom had swaddled me as a baby and suggested this to me. I always thought he didn't like being swaddled because he would sleep soundly with his arms above his head (until his reflexes kicked it that is). However my Mom would always swaddle him and he would calm instantly. I began to do this and found his sleep spans increased. However he eventually became too strong from my regular blanket swaddles and broke free, thus waking up. I went on the hunt for something that would keep his arms down and stumbled across the Miracle Blanket. The first night I put him in it he went 9 hours straight at 7 weeks old. Since then we haven't looked back...he sleeps 10-11 hours straight now at 17 weeks. AMAZING product and exactly what he needed to feel safe a secure in his sleep! He is way happier and I really don't know what I would have done without this blanket!

I bought this miracle blanket out of desperation. My daughter loved to be swaddled, but could wrestle out of everything I tried. She just would not sleep. 30 minute cat naps here and there. but that was it! She would only sleep in my arms. Then I bought the aptly named Miracle Blanket. At 3 weeks, our little girl slept through the night, and has been ever since. She is now 7 weeks, so I think that is very telling. She has never cried in this blanket either, even to wake up. It truly is a miracle.

When our son was born, he would only sleep in 2.5 hour spurts at night, then be up for 2 hours, sleep for 30 minutes then be up to eat again and repeat the cycle until daylight. On top of that he would then only "cat/power" nap during the day. Our neighbor one evening had told us about the miracle blanket they had purchased for their son. After 5 weeks of very little sleep by our son and lack of sleep for us, I purchased 2 miracle blankets at 3 a.m. When we received the blankets we used one immediately that night. Our son slept for 5.5 hours straight that night. With the birth of our daughter, the first night she was home we used the same blankets we had purchased for our son. She started out sleeping in 4 hour spurts, at night, when she was 3 days old. At 3 weeks she was sleeping in 4 to 5 hour spurts. The miracle blanket saved us with our first child. It relaxed him during many fits and helped him sleep when nothing else worked. We were at wits end and this blanket was a true miracle. When my second came around, after 8 weeks he wasn't sleeping through the night. Looking for ways to make our (and his) nights easier, I got out my "Happiest Baby on the Block" book (another must-have for parents) and read the chapter on swaddling. I ordered the miracle blanket when my first baby was 3 weeks old. I started using it on him when he was 5 weeks old and he slept thru the night perfectly!!! Now 3 1/2 years later, I had another baby on July 13th, 09-we didn't think he liked to be swaddled at first and he wasn't sleeping very well. At 6 weeks old I pulled out the miracle blanket and Liam slept thru the night from 10-9am!!! Needless to say, Liam sleeps for 10-12 hours thru the night in the miracle blanket! The Miracle Blanket is really a miracle! Our baby boy went through a fussy phase, and he was such a strong little guy that he escaped from receiving blankets and velcro swaddlers. The Miracle Blanket was sometimes the only thing that would calm him. Now we use it to help him sleep longer at night. Our advice to new customers - try it and don't give up if your baby doesn't like it at first. Our baby fussed the first few times, but we got better at wrapping it and learned that he doesn't like his feet swaddled. Now he loves it! Thank you!

As new parents of twin boys, ensuring good sleep is very important to us. Our sons always slept better while swaddled--and calmed down after being swaddled--but at six weeks old, they were almost always able to get out of typical blanket swaddle. And this was my husband's textbook, Dr. Karp, TIGHT swaddle. I then stumbled across a reference to miracle blanket when I was frustrated and searching online for a solution to the boys consistently waking up 20 or 40 minutes into their naps. I was hesitant to spend $60 on blankets that we might use for another 6 or 8 weeks, but my husband rightfully suggested that $60 was a small price to pay for good sleep. A complete stranger in the mall told me about the Miracle Blanket and how it made her son sleep through the night since 6 weeks old. My 2 1/2 month old son was still getting up every four hours so I decided to try it. I have a 7 week old that wouldn't nap unless held for more than 30 minutes. At night, she would only sleep for a few hours when she was co-sleeping with me. I was desperate to find something that worked, because my maternity leave was almost over. After trying many different styles of swaddle blankets, I got a miracle blanket. I saw the Miracle Blanket advertised on another website when I was pregnant and watched the video and read the testimonials. I am always a skeptic of things that claim to work so well but for some reason I decided to buy one. My husband and I are so thankful that we did. I did alot of research while I was in my third trimester with our son on swaddling blankets, after reading reviews on many different ones out there, many mentioned that they often loved the miracle blanket much more. So we ordered one, used it a few times after he was born and like many busy moms, with lots of different things we buy for our babies i forgot about the miracle blanket, my son is breastfed. So he often would only go to sleep with me, with the breast in his mouth. Yesterday while he was cranky and it was time for bed, I remembered my miracle blanket. I swaddled him and rocked him to sleep in it without the breast in his mouth...he slept 4 hours! I would like to let you know what a lifesaver this blanket has been. My mom bought this for our first child. We used it on him when he was small, but he was soon able to fall asleep on his own. Our second baby was a different story. As soon as she was born, she cried when she had to sleep alone. The only way I could get her to stay asleep was to have her touching me. This not only limited my sleep but it was not safe. I soon remembered the miracle blanket that my mom bought for our first child. The Miracle Blanket is the BEST! My friend and I both swear that it’s what made our babies begin sleeping better and for longer periods of time. It may not work for the baby in the beginning but keep giving it a try. It’s important to follow the instructions, we tried it early on but didn’t have our baby wrapped snugly enough and he was loose within a few minutes. After my friend suggested (a few times) that we try it, we finally did. We were skeptical, but that night I woke up in the middle of the night, looked at the clock and panicked! Typically he would have already been up at least once, if not twice, and he was still asleep! Our experience has been that he started sleeping a little better and a little longer each week. Over the course of 3 – 4 weeks he began to sleep through the night. I’m sure part of that is due to his age but I truly believe he sleeps better and longer because of the blanket. It has been a life saver! Prior to using the blanket he would wake up every 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, I thought I was going to die. I truly think this blanket is a life saver. It works well for naps too. The first 4 – 6 weeks he took long naps and then suddenly stopped. He started to get fussy in the late morning to early afternoon and I couldn’t figure out why. I finally realized he was tired but just couldn’t go to sleep and stay asleep. I now use the blanket for naps and it works great. I\'ve been telling EVERYONE I know (and don\'t know) about this blanket. I\'ve already given the blanket as a shower gift and it will be on my must purchase list for any future showers or babies. Cruz would "bust" out of every swaddle I put him in. Big swaddle blankets, velcro swaddles, etc. I was starting to think he hated being swaddled. When I think of the dozens of times we swaddled, and re-swaddled, our screaming infant, only to have him get loose within minutes, it makes me wish we had gotten the Miracle Blanket from the start. I've used the miracle blanket on both of my boys, one is now 4 and the baby is 8 months. I can honestly say that the Miracle Blanket was one of the best baby products I have ever owned. The name says it all. When used properly, I was able to calm both of my babies in record time. Swaddling is something that works but there is no other blanket on the market that works as well as the Miracle Blanket. Both of my boys learned to sleep through the night in under 9 weeks and took long and sound naps during the day. The babies even love being wrapped in the blanket! I bought the miracle blanket when my daughter was about 3 months old. I was having trouble finding swaddle blankets that were big enough and also ones she could not kick off of her. I was worried that she would kick her blanket off and it would cover her head. I finally came upon the miracle blanket and thought I would give it a try. He wasn't sleeping more than an hour or so at the time and seemed to wake himself up when he would startle. I was sleep deprived and trying to manage a newborn, a 5-year-old and 4-year-old. This is a great product. I heard about the miracle blanket and purchased one just before my daughter was born. To be honest I thought is was just for people who do not know how to swaddle, so I did not use it. At 3 weeks my husband used it and she slept 5 hours, woke up to eat and then slept 4 more! My baby is 3 weeks old and I have been struggling with whether to swaddle or not since the day I brought him home. I have been doing it off and on trying anything that seemed to work. Swaddling seemed to work better but he frequently wriggled out of the blanket and seemed to wake up frequently. I read about the Miracle Blanket on a website about baby sleep issues and decided to try it. I am SO glad that I did! What an amazing difference! He fussed for about 30 seconds after putting him in the blanket the first night and after only mild comforting he went to sleep in his crib for 5 straight hours! I had to wake him up to eat! Before the Miracle Blanket he had not slept more than 3 hours and would rarely sleep at all in his crib. Before the Miracle Blanket he would only sleep soundly on my chest in a recliner. At first I thought my daughter didn't like swaddling because she would break out of every swaddle I put her in and cry cry cry! She would never take a nap longer than 30 minutes and getting her to sleep at night was impossible. I ordered the Miracle Blanket and at first it sat on the shelf for a couple days. Our 4 week old baby girl could only settle once she was swaddled snugly. However, every night without fail she would perform her "little Houdini" act and spring herself free within 2 hours. I purchased a Miracle Blanket for our first baby, Nicholas, last year. We called him "Baby Houdini" because he could wiggle his way out of the most secure swaddling. I was so frustrated because he was trying to sleep through the night, but kept waking himself with flailing limbs. Once we started using the Miracle Blanket, Nicholas slept through the night. Just another email to praise your product. My first 2 children were happy and were able to sleep through the night relatively soon. My third child was happy, but unable to sleep longer than 2 hours at a time and only if she was snuggled closely to me even at 7 weeks. I received and bought many receiving blankets and other brands of swaddlers before my baby was born. It took me a while to start using the miracle blanket every night and for every naptime. An update on me and my daughter - she is now 20 months old, I swaddled her with the miracle blanket until she was 5 months. I received and bought many receiving blankets and other brands of swaddlers before my baby was born. It took me a while to start using the miracle blanket every night and for every naptime. I have to say it - it really is a miracle. Once we used it consistently, our baby began sleeping 6 hours straight, then 7-8, and now at 12 weeks he normally sleeps 8-9 hours. The Miracle Blanket rocks! I found it one night when desperately searching online for a smart swaddle blanket. Our baby would sleep well when swaddled, but could work his way out of normal blankets and woke himself up. (We even tried using athletic tape to hold regular blankets in place!) We got the Miracle Blanket at about 5 weeks of age, in the midst of some of his most colicky behavior, and it has been a lifesaver. The first night in it was remarkably different; he slept longer than he ever had. His daytime hours were better, too, as he was well rested. When my doula told me about this blanket I dismissed it as yet another thing to buy. This being my second child I figured I already knew what to do. I thought my son hated being swaddled cause he slept so nicely with his arms up over his head but every night he would wake up screaming and crying. I noticed his arms would flail around knocking him in the face. I tried swaddling him with other blankets and he always wiggled out, so when he was 2 months old I bought the miracle blanket. I can't even begin to thank you enough for the invention of this blanket. My 7 week old has had a terrible time sleeping. She would only sleep in my bed and only for an hour or so at a time! As soon as she went into her crib she would scream! The bouncy seat worked ok off and on but nothing worked consistantly for longer than an hour. I was exhausted!!!! My husband and I had our second child, a boy, at the beginning of the year. We noticed immediately that he was quite different than our now three year old daughter. This SAVED us big time!! Our daughter was 4 weeks old and had her days & nights confused. She would sleep ALL day long and wake up frequently during the night. We found the miracle blanket whe she was about 2 months old and it made all the difference in the world. She started sleeping through the night, started sleeping in the bassinet for the first time in her life and was generally much happier. We finally stopped swaddling, but she was able to continue sleeping through the night and at 3 years old still does! We are going to have another daughter in 2 months and we already have the miracle blanket out and ready to go so she can use it from birth. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I purchased the miracle blanket simply because my daughter is three months old and loves to be swaddled for naps and bedtime and none of our recieving blankets would stay put. After just one day with the miracle blanket my husband and I are in love with it. Not only does it keep her swaddled, she even slept better. I read other reviews about babies sleeping better and longer with the miracle blanket, but I honestly didn't believe that part. I just assumed my daughter would sleep through the night when she was ready to. Last night (the 1st night with the miracle blanket) she slept over 7 hours, 11pm tp 6:15 am! That is a record for us, she has been sleeping only about 4-5 hours at a time....hopefully it will continue! Thanks for a great product!

I received my first Miracle Blanket as a gift at my baby shower. At first I was hesitant to try such a seemingly complex piece of fabric (I saved the instructions just to be sure) but after the FIRST try found it to be the EASIEST way to swaddle my baby. My husband and I were amazed at just how easy it was and how much she enjoyed being swaddled and how soothing it was for her. We ended up buying another Miracle Blanket so we'd never have to go a night without it. I highly recommend this product for use from the first week through about three months (our baby was done with swaddling at this point.Now we have them packed away for our next baby :) Oh and do not be dissuaded by the price...it is worth every penny!

...it definitely IS a miracle! We had our little guy just shy of 3 months ago, and for his first 4+ weeks he wasn't very happy about being here at all! We were casually chatting with a friend about my wife getting about 2 hours sleep at night (at the best of times!), and she mentioned the Miracle Blanket. At that point, we were open to anything that might help, so we paid to have her courier one of her extra Miracle Blanket's to us. First night? 6 hours sleep!!! That never decreased from that night forward, and in fact began to increase over the next couple of weeks. Now, at 10 weeks, he's sleeping 8+ hours, and we're waking him to feed him in the morning. We'll give one of these to EVERY person having a baby, and/or as a gift at every baby shower we go to! The blanket is so easy to use, and for our son Max, who started at 9 lbs and could easily wiggle out of any other 'swaddling' blankets, this was the answer to his little hands continually escaping and hitting his chin/face. And even though you can see how securely a baby is wrapped in the Miracle Blanket, Max honestly smiles when we wrap him - he genuinely seems to enjoy getting swaddled in the Miracle Blanket! We don't how to effectively say thank you other than to say that your blanket made a DRAMATIC change in the happiness of our son, and also in the state of mind of one sleep-deprived mother!! We were swaddling our son from birth, but he kept getting his arms out and waking himself up. He was sleeping terribly, so I scoured looking for sleep solutions. I read Happiest Baby on the Block and was determined not to give up swaddling. We found this blanket and it was AWESOME. We were able to keep swaddling until he was almost 7 months. We bought two for ourselves and now, I have bought two as baby gifts as well. I hope the recipients use them, if not, they don't know what they are missing.

My daughter is now 12 weeks and just about to outgrow this blanket. She started to sleep through the night (8 hours) about 3 weeks ago. I was shocked. I give all the credit to this blanket. Since we have been consistently swaddling her with this she has been a great sleeper. I had the other swaddlers with the loud velcro that would wake her up during changings or tear up the clothes that were in the wash with it - this simple blanket is much better. As a first time mom, it's simply the best. I'll miss it now that she that she is transitioning out of it. The video at the beginning makes me tear up just remembering how tiny she was and how I depended on it to get us through those first sleepless weeks. Thanks to everyone who makes this!

A friend sent us a miracle blanket when our daughter was less than 2 weeks old. We'd heard about it but we had other swaddling blankets including the ones with velcro. Oh my gosh! Nothing compares to the miracle blanket. Our daughter slept so much longer with it for naps and at night. Sleep is just so important for babies given all that they're learning. A true lifesaver and our daughter is an excellent sleeper to this day!

The Miracle Blanket holds up to its name! My son will be 3 months on Saturday and is sleeping from 9p-6a regularly. He gets fussy at naptime and as soon as he sees his miracle blanket a smile spreads across his face! I wrap him and rock him and it is out like a light. he naps for 3-4 hours. Without the Miracle blanket he is startled awake within minutes!

I bought this for a baby gift for a friend. She just told me today that she LOVES it. She said she uses it all the time to keep her baby girl covered up and warm in wintery Illinois.
