I just finished ordering a blanket for our friend and thier new baby. This is the 5th blanket I have purchased. After the recommendation from a co worker, I bought one for our 6 week old. Up until then, he was waking up every 2 hours. First night with the blanket bumped up to 4 hours, second night 5, then 6. At 2 months he was consistently sleeping for 8 hours at night. At 3 months consistently sleeping from 7 am to 7 pm. Has been that way since. Also he takes naps well, too. My son was born prematurely which was complicated by his inability to breastfeed until he was 2 months old. Between pumping around the clock every few hours and trying to care for him we needed sleep BADLY! One night my husband swaddled him with a regular blanket and then used a receiving blanket and tape and we got a full 6 hours. I just had a baby boy in May. After just a couple of weeks, I quit swaddling him in receiving blankets because he was constantly kicking off the blanket. I just assumed that he didn\'t like being swaddled. At about 4 weeks old, my husband and I began having problems getting our son to go to sleep...so we would put him in his car seat and take him for a drive - and he would sleep through the night. I first heard about the Miracle Blanket on a discussion board for new parents called The Nest (www.thenest.com). There, parents of newborns were proclaiming its virtues, saying it helped their babies go from sleeping 3-4 hours at best to 6 or more hours. Once I had my baby in March 2006, I knew how much of a difference those few hours could make to my own sanity and the well-being of my little one. I gave it a try and they were right! A friend of ours told us about the Miracle Blanket when our son was three weeks old. His baby daughter loved the Miracle Blanket and had been using it for two months. We ran out and bought it the next day. It made a huge difference. I have a newborn, and was never able to swaddle her in the "normal" square blanket. I never could get it tight enough, and could not get it to swaddle throughout the night. I have twins and the miracle blanket has truly been a miracle. I heard about the Miracle Blanket from my sister, who received two Miracle Blankets from our mom. Mom heard about the blankets from a co-worker. I just finished ordering a blanket for our friend and thier new baby. This is the 5th blanket I have purchased. After the recommendation from a co worker, I bought one for our 6 week old. Up until then, he was waking up every 2 hours. First night with the blanket bumped up to 4 hours, second night 5, then 6. At 2 months he was consistently sleeping for 8 hours at night. At 3 months consistently sleeping from 7 am to 7 pm. Has been that way since. Also he takes naps well, too. My son was born prematurely which was complicated by his inability to breastfeed until he was 2 months old. Between pumping around the clock every few hours and trying to care for him we needed sleep BADLY! I just had a baby boy in May. After just a couple of weeks, I quit swaddling him in receiving blankets because he was constantly kicking off the blanket. I just assumed that he didn\'t like being swaddled. I first heard about the Miracle Blanket on a discussion board for new parents called The Nest (www.thenest.com). There, parents of newborns were proclaiming its virtues, saying it helped their babies go from sleeping 3-4 hours at best to 6 or more hours. Once I had my baby in March 2006, I knew how much of a difference those few hours could make to my own sanity and the well-being of my little one. I gave it a try and they were right! I have a newborn, and was never able to swaddle her in the "normal" square blanket. I never could get it tight enough, and could not get it to swaddle throughout the night. I have twins and the miracle blanket has truly been a miracle. I heard about the Miracle Blanket from my sister, who received two Miracle Blankets from our mom. Mom heard about the blankets from a co-worker. I work in a salon. One of my clients is a first time mom at age 45 through invitro. Obviously sleep is at a premium for her considering she's an older mother.
