A year ago when I went to the open house at my pediatrician's office, the Dr. who hosted the open house gave us 3 pieces of advice; the Miracle Blanket was one of them. It was the best! My son did so well with it and I truly believe that I have it to thank the Miracle Blanket for helping us start him off on a healthy sleep schedule. He was sleeping through the night at 9 weeks, which made my transition back to work when he was 12 weeks so much easier. Our son is 22 pounds and we're just now starting to wean him off the miracle blanket! It was the only way he could fall asleep on his own and stay asleep all night. When we would lay him on the blanket, he would immediately put his arms at his side as if he was telling us "Swaddle me up!" We tried several times to get him to sleep with other swaddling blankets but he was miserable. And, as soon as we brought the blanket out he would calm down. Even after screaming for 30-45 minutes, we would swaddle him up and he would go to sleep almost instantly. Our doctor said it was fine to continue using it until he grew out of it (literally and figuratively). It only took a few days to wean him and now he is able to fall asleep by himself unswaddled and sleeps through the night. But, when he has a difficult time with his nap, we still use the miracle blanket. I just bought one for a friend and plan to buy 2 more this year to give as gifts. Thank you!

A year ago when I went to the open house at my pediatrician's office, the Dr. who hosted the open house gave us 3 pieces of advice; the Miracle Blanket was one of them. It was the best! My son did so well with it and I truly believe that I have it to thank the Miracle Blanket for helping us start him off on a healthy sleep schedule. He was sleeping through the night at 9 weeks, which made my transition back to work when he was 12 weeks so much easier. I actually bought this second blanket for some friends who are having their second child and had a lot of trouble with getting the hang of it with their first baby. She has registered for blankets similar, but I can tell you from experience none work as well as the miracle blanket - that's why I bought it for them. My child would only sleep in the carseat and the longest stretch I would get in the night was one 6hour stretch. I put the Miracle Blanket on him and he actually smiled. He slept the first night from 8pm-1am and then from 2am to 7am. That could've been a fluke but the next night he slept from 9pm-4am. It has saved my life!

When her second baby was due she bought some of the inexpensive swaddling blankets at the baby store (she'd given away her original Miracle Blanket!). Our son is 22 pounds and we're just now starting to wean him off the miracle blanket! It was the only way he could fall asleep on his own and stay asleep all night. When we would lay him on the blanket, he would immediately put his arms at his side as if he was telling us "Swaddle me up!" We tried several times to get him to sleep with other swaddling blankets but he was miserable. And, as soon as we brought the blanket out he would calm down. Even after screaming for 30-45 minutes, we would swaddle him up and he would go to sleep almost instantly. Our doctor said it was fine to continue using it until he grew out of it (literally and figuratively). It only took a few days to wean him and now he is able to fall asleep by himself unswaddled and sleeps through the night. But, when he has a difficult time with his nap, we still use the miracle blanket. I just bought one for a friend and plan to buy 2 more this year to give as gifts. Thank you!

HOLY COW! What did we do all those weeks before I ordered a Miracle Blanket at 3 am! My son is now 2, but we still remember how much we loved this blanket. We actually used it until 7 months, and this site is right...he let us know that he didn't want to be done with swaddling and then at 7 months, like a light switch, he was done with it! I buy these for EVERYONE I know that's having a baby, every shower. I encourage them to take them to the hospital and start using them right away. I also try to help people see that there really isn't a "this just doesn't work for us" category. If your baby doesn't seem to "fit" keep trying different techniques, you will find a way and you will be glad you did! Yay for the AMB!

I'm a single mom of twins and around 4 weeks, one of my girls suddenly had a string of nights of colic. I tried everything, overnighted books about helping fussy babies sleep...to no avail.
