First off, I just have to rave about the Miracle Blanket. My first baby was fussy and a terrible sleeper. I never swaddled her because I had the impression she didn't like it. During my second pregnancy, I was SOOOO worried about how I would deal with another baby, because I thought all babies were awake constantly in the night needing to be held 24/7. With a 2-year-old to deal with all day long, sleep deprivation for Mommy could be rough on everyone involved.
Anyway, I read about your product on INCIID.com, a website for people dealing with infertility and parenting after infertility (my first was an fertility treatment baby). Just thought you'd want to know that people there RAVE about it. So I bought two.
We brought Audrey home in March and immediately started using the MB. She was a better sleeper than her sister straight off the bat. She was barely 3 weeks old when she started giving us 6 hour stretches, then 7 and 8. She started sleeping 10-12 hours STRAIGHT at 2-1/2 months. Holy success story, batman!!
I wanted to write and tell you how wonderful we think your product is. My husband and I BOTH developed post-partum depression after the birth of our first, and I honestly think the MB helped my second sleep well enough that I was well rested and never dealt with that again.

Thank you so much for taking your time to invent the perfect swaddling blanket (the Miracle Blanket). The name really says it all. Our Sophie(8wks on 8/29) is finally getting the sound sleep she needs and deserves. Before having the AMB, she wouldn't sleep more than 2-3 hours at night and 1 hour naps during the day. Plus, her sleep was fitful, which could be heard on the monitor and I wouldn't sleep at all.
Thats all changed now. We've had our AMB's for three days now and I know I'm no longer so exhausted it hurts anymore and I can imagine Sophia is feeling like a million bucks with the REAL sleep she's getting now. Ok...I just HAVE to post this!
Lauren is about 2 1/2 months old and has NEVER slept more than 3 1/2 or so hours straight at night or during the day. And most of the time when she sleeps it has been ON either me or my DH. Well, I heard about this thing called the Miracle Blanket and how well it worked for some people. I was VERY skeptical. Well, it had a money back guarantee and Mike was REALLY nice in his emails with me...so I bought one. It was about $30 with shipping. I know, sounds like a lot right? Well get this... IT WORKS..and it is SOOO worth it!! My daughter...who wakes up a couple minutes after you put her down either because her arms move or her paci falls out..she sleeps GREAT in this thing! The first night she fell asleep about 30 seconds after we put it on and slept about 4 hours. Then last night, she slept almost 6 hours!! Now for those of you who's babies sleep 12 hours, that may not seem too great..but for us it is a miracle! And she slept like this in her bassinet, NOT ON US!
I am not usually big on promoting items because I feel what works for one may not work for another..but guys...it works! I know, some dont like being swaddled..but Lauren was always squirming and getting out of the blankets we tried to swaddle her in, and this one she cant get out of! Now we will work for 8 or 10 hours of sleep!

Dear Mike,
We received the blanket on Thursday and it IS a Miracle Blanket!!! The arm
flaps are the key to keeping him from "escaping" from the swaddle. We have been swaddling him using normal blankets and we really get him in there tight (as suggested in the Happiest Baby book), but it seems that at least one to two times per night one arm would escape and wake him up. Now he has been sleeping without escaping, it is great! He only wakes up to feed once a night now! I should have ordered more blankets!

Just wanted to say thank you! The MB has been a godsend. Our son simply would not sleep unswaddled - his little arms flailed about and he would cry indefinitely. He wriggled out of receving blanket swaddles. With the MB (and occasionally a pacifier) he falls asleep within 10 minutes max. He slept for 5-6 hours at first and is now up to 8 hours (at 12 weeks). I can breastfeed him without him coming unwrapped and he'll go down for another 3 hours, still snug in his MB!

I called the toll free number and spoke to a gentleman about the blanket I had ordered for some time, and about when it would arrive. I stated that I would send a message if I was pleased...Well, here it is. THANK YOU!!!!! Our blanket arrived yesterday and for the first time in at least a couple of weeks our baby slept in his crib without crying as soon as we laid him down. To add to that he slept for a good 5 to 6 hours without having to be held or placed in his car seat to sleep. He instantly calmed down once I got him swaddled, and his arms never got free. After many sleepless nights and days filled with baby catnaps after the birth of our little Annika last December, I went searching on the Internet for an answer and came across the Miracle Blanket. I figured I had nothing to lose (except more sleep and a few dollars) and ordered a miracle blanket. Thank goodness I did. Hello!
I wanted to write to let you know how much our family has been helped by the Miracle Blanket.
Our second child was born on April 30, 2004, and we were overjoyed to have been blessed with a baby girl. It didn't take long to realize that she just didn't sleep well, and consequently cried a lot. Our son Matthew (now 3) slept easily in his crib when he was a newborn, but it took Sarah a loooong time to get to sleep. When she was finally asleep, she awoke within 5 minutes of being put down. I had resorted to letting her sleep on my chest, just so she could get the sleep she needed. Although I love holding her, it's just not possible to hold a baby all the time, especially with another child to care for.
Well, I did some research and found out that swaddling calms babies and helps them sleep. So I tried using a receiving blanket, and it helped some, but she was constantly getting her little arms out and waking herself up by bopping her nose, or pulling her own hair.
Then, I saw a special swaddling blanket in a catalog and ordered it. I actually worked less well than the receiving blanket I'd been using.
THEN: I stumbled across the Miracle Blanket website and immediately placed an order.
The first night we used it she slept seven hours before I actually had to wake her up to nurse her. (I was told that at her age {3 1/2 weeks old}, a baby shouldn't go longer than 5 hours without eating.) With the Miracle Blanket, I was also able to put her in her crib to nap! We quickly ordered another so that we would never be without one, even if one was being washed.
Sarah is now 10 weeks old, and is very well rested, calm, and happy!

Like so many of the other posters, I first have to thank you SO much for the MB!! It has been such a godsend for our son, Evan. Evan was a BIG boy when he was born (9 1/2 pounds!) and no matter how we swaddled him, he always pulled a Houdini and escaped almost as soon as we put him to sleep. My friend suggested I borrow her Miracle Blanket for my son who would only give me one 4 to 5 hour stretch of sleep each night and then was up up every hour or two, popping out of his swaddle. and generally just not able to settle down and fall back to sleep. I was getting very little sleep, especially because I have a two year old too! The first night I used the AMB, Aidan slept from 9:15 to 6:15. The second night, he slept from 9:30 to 5. We received our blanket and as you can see by madeline's smile, she LOVES it! At two months she was breaking out of our normal blankets when we tried to swaddle her, so we tried this one! The first night she slept from 10pm till 5am! Oh i was in HEAVEN! I only have one suggestion. I think the blanket should come already washed and ready to go!! I ripped into the package with my teeth while I held madeline in my other arm and immediately washed it. I looked like a kid standing at the door of a closed candy shop waiting for that thing to finish in the dryer! ... of course I am kidding that it needed to come washed and ready to go. ;)

My sister-in-law used it for her fussy baby and loved it. I went to her house yesterday and she let me use hers. Cassidy has had trouble sleeping for a couple of nights so I used it. I was about to give birth with my first child and went to have dinner with a friend, Lee, who was due at the same time. (We actually both gave birth to sons on May 11, 2003 - mother's day). She had just gotten a package from her mother and in it was 2 miracle blankets. Her mother had heard about them from the Oprah show. I thought that it seemed like a great blanket and went home and ordered 2. They didn't arrive before we went to the hospital. And we had such a time trying to "burrito" the baby with the hospital blankets. I couldn't master it at all. My husband would do it, or we'd call a nurse. After searching on the internet for swaddling blankets, I came across the Miracle Blanket. I have a two mo. old girl and wanted to find a way to help her sleep more at night and during the day. She would often wake herself up from sleep because her hands would flail and touch her face.
I read the testimonials and was a bit skeptical ["I thought, yeah, right, not my baby"] but the first night I wrapped my baby in the Miracle Blanket, she slept for 7 hours straight. And, she has continued to do so ever since. I also use it during the day and it helps her stay asleep for naps for 2 hours at a time. The best part, now she smiles at me when I wrap her up in it.

Oh, and I have told many people about Miracle Blanket. That was Luke's saving grace. He was sleeping 6 hrs at 6 weeks and 8 -9 by 10 weeks! ... he loved it. And he is so active and he still startles himself. He loved being swaddled so much that he would stop crying as soon as we'd tuck the first arm and he was either singing or asleep before we had the last end tucked in. First off, I just have to rave about the Miracle Blanket. My first baby was fussy and a terrible sleeper. I never swaddled her because I had the impression she didn't like it. During my second pregnancy, I was SOOOO worried about how I would deal with another baby, because I thought all babies were awake constantly in the night needing to be held 24/7. With a 2-year-old to deal with all day long, sleep deprivation for Mommy could be rough on everyone involved.
Anyway, I read about your product on INCIID.com, a website for people dealing with infertility and parenting after infertility (my first was an fertility treatment baby). Just thought you'd want to know that people there RAVE about it. So I bought two.
We brought Audrey home in March and immediately started using the MB. She was a better sleeper than her sister straight off the bat. She was barely 3 weeks old when she started giving us 6 hour stretches, then 7 and 8. She started sleeping 10-12 hours STRAIGHT at 2-1/2 months. Holy success story, batman!!

Thank you so much for taking your time to invent the perfect swaddling blanket (the Miracle Blanket). The name really says it all. Our Sophie(8wks on 8/29) is finally getting the sound sleep she needs and deserves. Before having the AMB, she wouldn't sleep more than 2-3 hours at night and 1 hour naps during the day. Plus, her sleep was fitful, which could be heard on the monitor and I wouldn't sleep at all.
Thats all changed now. Lauren is about 2 1/2 months old and has NEVER slept more than 3 1/2 or so hours straight at night or during the day. And most of the time when she sleeps it has been ON either me or my DH. Well, I heard about this thing called the Miracle Blanket and how well it worked for some people. I was VERY skeptical. Well, it had a money back guarantee and Mike was REALLY nice in his emails with me...so I bought one. It was about $30 with shipping. I know, sounds like a lot right? Well get this... IT WORKS..and it is SOOO worth it!! My daughter...who wakes up a couple minutes after you put her down either because her arms move or her paci falls out..she sleeps GREAT in this thing! The first night she fell asleep about 30 seconds after we put it on and slept about 4 hours. Then last night, she slept almost 6 hours!! Now for those of you who's babies sleep 12 hours, that may not seem too great..but for us it is a miracle! And she slept like this in her bassinet, NOT ON US!
I am not usually big on promoting items because I feel what works for one may not work for another..but guys...it works! I know, some dont like being swaddled..but Lauren was always squirming and getting out of the blankets we tried to swaddle her in, and this one she cant get out of! We received the blanket on Thursday and it IS a Miracle Blanket!!! The arm
flaps are the key to keeping him from "escaping" from the swaddle. We have been swaddling him using normal blankets and we really get him in there tight (as suggested in the Happiest Baby book), but it seems that at least one to two times per night one arm would escape and wake him up. Now he has been sleeping without escaping, it is great! He only wakes up to feed once a night now! I should have ordered more blankets!

Just wanted to say thank you! The MB has been a godsend. Our son simply would not sleep unswaddled - his little arms flailed about and he would cry indefinitely. He wriggled out of receving blanket swaddles. With the MB (and occasionally a pacifier) he falls asleep within 10 minutes max. He slept for 5-6 hours at first and is now up to 8 hours (at 12 weeks). I can breastfeed him without him coming unwrapped and he'll go down for another 3 hours, still snug in his MB!

I called the toll free number and spoke to a gentleman about the blanket I had ordered for some time, and about when it would arrive. I stated that I would send a message if I was pleased...Well, here it is. THANK YOU!!!!! Our blanket arrived yesterday and for the first time in at least a couple of weeks our baby slept in his crib without crying as soon as we laid him down. To add to that he slept for a good 5 to 6 hours without having to be held or placed in his car seat to sleep. He instantly calmed down once I got him swaddled, and his arms never got free. After many sleepless nights and days filled with baby catnaps after the birth of our little Annika last December, I went searching on the Internet for an answer and came across the Miracle Blanket. I figured I had nothing to lose (except more sleep and a few dollars) and ordered a miracle blanket. Thank goodness I did. Annika loved being swaddled and went from sleeping maybe an hour at a time to sleeping a few hours at a time to...yes...all night! The Miracle Blanket finally allowed us to get some sleep when we needed it most. Our daughter started sleeping through the night (and I was breastfeeding!) almost immediately and weened off the blanket with very little trouble. Thank you!!!

I wanted to write to let you know how much our family has been helped by the Miracle Blanket.
Our second child was born on April 30, 2004, and we were overjoyed to have been blessed with a baby girl. It didn't take long to realize that she just didn't sleep well, and consequently cried a lot. Our son Matthew (now 3) slept easily in his crib when he was a newborn, but it took Sarah a loooong time to get to sleep. When she was finally asleep, she awoke within 5 minutes of being put down. I had resorted to letting her sleep on my chest, just so she could get the sleep she needed. Although I love holding her, it's just not possible to hold a baby all the time, especially with another child to care for.
Well, I did some research and found out that swaddling calms babies and helps them sleep. So I tried using a receiving blanket, and it helped some, but she was constantly getting her little arms out and waking herself up by bopping her nose, or pulling her own hair.
Then, I saw a special swaddling blanket in a catalog and ordered it. I actually worked less well than the receiving blanket I'd been using.
THEN: I stumbled across the Miracle Blanket website and immediately placed an order.
The first night we used it she slept seven hours before I actually had to wake her up to nurse her. (I was told that at her age {3 1/2 weeks old}, a baby shouldn't go longer than 5 hours without eating.) With the Miracle Blanket, I was also able to put her in her crib to nap! We quickly ordered another so that we would never be without one, even if one was being washed.
Sarah is now 10 weeks old, and is very well rested, calm, and happy!
Thank you so much for creating this wonderful blanket. Our whole family is grateful, including our 3 year old son, who now knows that babies don't cry constantly, and can sleep in their cribs. :-)

I love the blanket b/c my daughter that could not sleep due fussiness slept 6 hours the first night. The most amamzing part of that was that she slept for the first time in her bassinet with the head of it elevated. She had been unable to do that and had been sleeping in her car seat. Ever since, she has been getting better and better at sleeping and one night slept for 8 hours and she's only 6 weeks. Most nights it's been 6 hours which is a HUGE improvement from 3 and has made a big difference in our lives to say the least. Like so many of the other posters, I first have to thank you SO much for the MB!! It has been such a godsend for our son, Evan. Evan was a BIG boy when he was born (9 1/2 pounds!) and no matter how we swaddled him, he always pulled a Houdini and escaped almost as soon as we put him to sleep. His little arms and legs were always going a mile a minute, but since getting the MB, his sleeping habits have been amazing and he goes to sleep without any problems what-so-ever.

I just love the miracle blanket! I recommended it to my pediatrician and she was very impressed by my testimonial. My son, then 8-weeks old was sleeping about 5 hours at night. Just wanted to let you know that you have another satisfied customer. I have spoken with you before, used the blanket for my daughter and bought for several friends. My husband duck hunts and they have a forum they share info on. A friend of [my husband's] had their daughter born very early, wife was in the hospital at 27 weeks.

My friend suggested I borrow her Miracle Blanket for my son who would only give me one 4 to 5 hour stretch of sleep each night and then was up up every hour or two, popping out of his swaddle. and generally just not able to settle down and fall back to sleep. I was getting very little sleep, especially because I have a two year old too! The first night I used the AMB, Aidan slept from 9:15 to 6:15. The second night, he slept from 9:30 to 5. It is a miracle. I am more rested and I must have more of these blankies!

We received our blanket and as you can see by madeline's smile, she LOVES it! At two months she was breaking out of our normal blankets when we tried to swaddle her, so we tried this one! The first night she slept from 10pm till 5am! Oh i was in HEAVEN! I only have one suggestion. I think the blanket should come already washed and ready to go!! I ripped into the package with my teeth while I held madeline in my other arm and immediately washed it. I looked like a kid standing at the door of a closed candy shop waiting for that thing to finish in the dryer! ... of course I am kidding that it needed to come washed and ready to go. ;)

My sister-in-law used it for her fussy baby and loved it. I went to her house yesterday and she let me use hers. Cassidy has had trouble sleeping for a couple of nights so I used it. She slept ten hours and woke up smiling. She hated to see me take the blanket off. I love the blanket. We had used one with velcro and she always got her arms free and would wake up atleast five times a night. Last night she got up only once. It is truly a miracle blanket.

I was about to give birth with my first child and went to have dinner with a friend, Lee, who was due at the same time. (We actually both gave birth to sons on May 11, 2003 - mother's day). She had just gotten a package from her mother and in it was 2 miracle blankets. Her mother had heard about them from the Oprah show. I thought that it seemed like a great blanket and went home and ordered 2. They didn't arrive before we went to the hospital. And we had such a time trying to "burrito" the baby with the hospital blankets. I couldn't master it at all. My husband would do it, or we'd call a nurse. So, we were ecstatic to try the Miracle Blanket when it arrived in the mail a few days later! And it was great. It was so easy to get him nice and tight. He loved it. After searching on the internet for swaddling blankets, I came across the Miracle Blanket. I have a two mo. old girl and wanted to find a way to help her sleep more at night and during the day. She would often wake herself up from sleep because her hands would flail and touch her face.
I read the testimonials and was a bit skeptical ["I thought, yeah, right, not my baby"] but the first night I wrapped my baby in the Miracle Blanket, she slept for 7 hours straight. And, she has continued to do so ever since. I also use it during the day and it helps her stay asleep for naps for 2 hours at a time. The best part, now she smiles at me when I wrap her up in it.

Oh, and I have told many people about Miracle Blanket. That was Luke's saving grace. He was sleeping 6 hrs at 6 weeks and 8 -9 by 10 weeks! ... he loved it. And he is so active and he still startles himself. He loved being swaddled so much that he would stop crying as soon as we'd tuck the first arm and he was either singing or asleep before we had the last end tucked in. We had all kinds of problems switching him to being loose in the crib because he wants to roll around and yell and scoot all night long, but for 3 weeks now he's had the hang of sleeping like a big boy.
